In Novaliches, an elderly man was spotted with cuts and bruises on his face. Netizens were fuming fumed over the bystanders who alleged assaulted the elderly man.
According to a Facebook user named Anthony Enriquez, he and his companion came across the wounded Tatay Pranie along a narrow street. His face was bruised and his feet were injured.
The netizen shared that Tatay Pranie could barely answer their questions, particularly where he lives. Apparently, he’s from Monumento. They also aim to get a hold of the elderly man’s relatives through their viral Facebook post.
A woman could be heard saying:
“Kung sino po ‘yung nakakakilala kay tatay, andito po siya Novaliches, [sa] Barangay Sta. Lucia. Dito po namin siya nakita. Kung kilala niyo po siya, PM (private message) niyo lang po ako.”
As of press writing, the post has already amassed around 13,000 mixed reactions and nearly 31,000 shares on Facebook. Various netizens expressed their anger about the culprits who made Tatay Pranie suffer. One netizen said that it broke his heart to see the elderly man suffer as he loves his parents deeply.
Another netizen suggested to take Tatay Pranie to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) who could help locate the elderly man’s relatives.
